My humans have decided I am all fur.... that there is no body under all this hair. They are so silly! It's not my fault that when they pick me up I leave a cat sized blob of hair on their clothes. The girl human has been giving us brush time everyday since she's still on vacation, but apparently that isn't enough....

Every time the humans get this thing out to suck up some dirt, I run over and look at it. So the boy human thought I wouldn't mind it sucking up my extra fur right off my back! Now maybe I can get vacuumed every time it's out......... oooohhhhhh what a treat! I love this mini-vacuum! When the humans brush us the regular way that orange kitty hogs the brush, but he's scared of this just like everything else, so it's mine all MINE.

I enjoy watching my humans get ready to go to work while I lay in the tub. I roll around, wiggle, and turn upper-side-downer. I love it and they love it....they always tell me I'm so cute. Like I don't know I'm the cutest kitty in Romanoffland. Look at my extra touch of the folded over ear...priceless.

Sorry for not posting for a while, but I've been sick. Kosmo started it! He was sneezing before the humans left so they took him to the vet. The vet said Asthma, but the humans said if one of the cats had that it was me, Roman T. because I snuff things really loudly. Kosmo quit sneezing and coughing, so they figured he was okay and didn't try to force any pills down his throat because he was already stressed from the vet visit and blood test (no heartworms). Plus the humans had been painting and spray painting upstairs so they thought it had just irritated his little kitty nose.

Well, the stress of the humans leaving him made him sick again...when the humans got back, Kosmo started sneezing and then they stressed him out more with replacing the AC. Worker guys with shoes to scare Kosmo..and NO AC! it was hot and yuckie. After that Kosmo was sneezing with snot flying out everywhere. So the girl human started giving him his asthma medicine with soft food....well I wasn't going to sit around and not get some of that soft food! Even though the girl human tried to keep me out...I got some.

Now, I'm sick.... sneezing too. The humans called the vet and the mean counter lady said give them the meds we already prescribed. Kosmo now had a goopey eye along with snot flying out of him....so the vet gave him eye medicine. The girl human asked if we should be treating Kosmo for a cold/URI instead of asthma? Mean counter girl said no give them the meds you were supposed to give before...... So the girl human went on the Internet to look for a new vet....and what to do about her sick kitties. She found some info and decided to call the vet to make sure he thought it was okay...not going to speak to mean counter girl again. The nice counter boy answered, well the girl human said if he has a goopey eye and the other cat is now sneezing when he wasn't before shouldn't I be treating them both for a respiratory infection and not asthma? She explained the stuff she found on-line and counter boy said yes. Go get that and also give them the other meds too.

So It's been a stressful time around here. The humans have been super nice and letting us sleep in the bed with them at night...even though we kept them up with sneezing snot all over their feet and faces...hee hee. I've gotten a lot of soft food, not just our usual holiday doses, it has been everyday! We got chicken broth drinks and yummy treats. Lots of love from our humans and now we are both better. We are up and around the house and looking like our regular cute kitty-selves.

The humans have moved on to the next room to work on and I've found some great places to lay. Here I am on the table! I know being on the table is AGAINST the rules....but here it's okay because I'm not on top. What fun it is when things are all messed up. I love to hang out and watch them work. I really like these new toys we got from our grandhuman in Wisconsin. They have organic nip in them instead of that processed stuff. Kosmo and I have been trying to help the girl human feel better. She let us sleep with her in the bed today...oooh what a treat. I love sleeping on the boy human's pillow. We slept from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. Then we had to get up because the girl human said she needs to stay awake so she can sleep tonight. I need to sleep so I can be awake tonight. I know she doesn't feel good so I didn't argue and got of the bed when she asked. Now we are out on the couch on the pile of blankets keeping the girl human warm and watching TV.

Well, I've had a busy time this past month. Sorry for not posting but my humans left me here while they traveled to Italy and I couldn't find where they put the laptop. I had tried to pack myself in their luggage but unfortunately they found me each time. I was stuck here with Kosmo for 9 days....luckily this lady would come and feed us and pet us. My Humans came back and they had all sorts of smells on them...but they went straight to bed. The girl human said we could sleep with them....but the boy human said he wanted to actually get some sleep and closed the door. Well, I never......

The next day I was busy sniffing the suitcases again and all the clothes while they sorted through for laundry. Then, it was back to work and busy, busy, busy. I've just now gotten back to the blog now that things have calmed down around here. The girl human has been keeping me company on the couch and showing me a lot of movies in between my naps.

This is photo shows my favorite spot....at the computer with my boy human. I love to lay with him and some times they help with typing for the blog. Sorry for my absence again and I hope to keep up in the future.

Here I am enjoying my wonderful sunbeam. I love the ones that come through the front door because I get a bonus of Rainbow Sunbeam. I was just minding my own business and taking a bath. Relaxing, Rolling, and just being cute.

Kosmo and I are waiting at the door. The humans think we are just awesome kitties and miss them now that summer break is over. However, we are really here because when the humans use the door....so do the lizards. There has been little baby lizards running into the house. They are fun to play with and chase around. The girl human screams for the boy human to get it before I eat it... I love these little treats. Sometimes I win, sometimes Kosmo wins, and sometimes the boy human wins and the little lizard is tossed outside.

The girl human went shopping and I love the tissue paper that her clothes get wrapped in. I play in it for hours it's great for hiding, diving, digging, and all types of fun. Nothing to do here now that the work has stopped on the front room. I don't have any power tools...the sander has been put out in the garage. No humans to help..... it has become really quiet and boring. The humans spend their time in the pool with evil ducky and I'm left in the house. Just when I was finally getting settled into my nap....the orange cat is out. He had been hiding for days when the power tools were out, I've got to get the humans to start to work on the room again! Otherwise, I may never get to sleep.

I am starting to lose track of time...... I know that when the girl human comes home I will be fed. But she never leaves.... how am I to know when it's dinner time? There he is! I was hoping he had melted with the 100+ degree weather it has been for weeks. Of course that was wishful thinking, becasue here he is to mock me. I'm stuck inside and he is free to float around the pool and watch the birds.

Ahhh, the couch. It is so nice to sit up here on the squishy couch that is so comfortable. I can sit up here if a human is with me....such stupid rules, but I'll play the game to get this spot. I can rest and look out the window. Now if only I had a beverage.......oh human. human......

In trouble

Finally it happened....the orange cat is in trouble. Ha ha ha. I got a picture of him having to stand in the corner! He's no longer the perfect kitty. Kosmo doesn't climb the ladder and try to get into the hole in the ceiling, Kosmo doesn't claw my feet, Kosmo doesn't lay on the couch, Kosmo doesn't try to run out the front door, Kosmo doesn't get on the counters, Kosmo doesn't meow in the morning, etc, etc. Well, I shouldn't have to hear all that stuff again.......

Corner stretch

This is my favorite corner of the rug in the living room. It is of course right in the major walk way into the living room and I can swat at humans feet as they walk past me. My favorite thing is to snag the girl human's pajama pants as she goes by because they swing me around on the tile.......but this is summer time and she isn't happy when I claw her foot instead. This is my corner stretch, I'm getting my practice in so I'll be ready for the winter of pant snagging......

Time out!

Whew, that was a serious play session with Kosmo. I was so exhausted I had to call Time Out so I could rest. In our game, I have to call time out by making a "T" with my paws like the humans do in sports. I think the humans would freak out if I did time out like they do, when I play with the humans my time out signal is when I run and scratch my post like a good kitty.

This is a very nice sunbeam. Well, I'm just laying here thinking about the world and my little role in the big picture. I am Ruler of a great nation, but I still feel like a little kitten laying here in my sunbeam. I guess that is what I wish for everyone, to feel comfortable in these little moments of life. Geez this orange cat is always here to annoy me. Anytime I find anything cool to do, there he is all serious and ready to take it away from me. I just want to hang out with my mouse...bite it a few times, swat it a few times, and chill. Now it's a competition and he is always out for blood. I usually end up getting bit and then the fun is OVER... argh he is so annoying.

This foil mouse never moved before! Suddenly it keeps wiggling it's tail and moving one or two tiles across the floor. It's alive! It seems to only move when it is in front of the bedroom door and when the air conditioner turns on. It must get tired fast because it will stop and rest for a while then all the sudden.....zoom........it's racing past me on the floor. Maybe it is getting too hot, it is 100 degrees outside, and it only feels like moving when there is cool air from the vent.....either way it's fun to watch.

The humans are doing some remodeling again and my buddy is back in the house. He is so much fun! I love the noise he makes when the humans hold him, I come running to see what is happening. He's sleepy from working all day so I thought would lay down and take a nap too.

Not much going on outside today so I figured I would play with my favorite toy...the fish. I basically like most toys with bells but this one is special. The fishy has been through a lot. My humans know it's a special fishy so they have sewn it back together a few times for me.

I know I'm not allowed on the furniture, but this table has a great view of the birds. These birds are small and hoppy...they are bouncing around everywhere! I wish my humans would let me out so I could chase them!

The girl human was washing all the kid aprons from school and I thought I would see what I could do to help. Apparently swatting at all the strings when she folded the aprons was not that helpful. I decided to check and see if there was anything interesting left in the washer but there was only some lint from the dryer on the floor..... not that exciting of a day today.

Today I was woken up from my nap by another bird outside the window. This time it was a bird that got too close and hit the window. Lucky for the bird my human was home to fish it out of the pool after it bounced off the window. The bird was also lucky that my human doesn't eat birds because instead the bird was placed on the pot outside the window why won't it fly away? My human said the bird had to sit there a while to dry off and unscramble his brain.

My plan to get rid of Kosmo is back in play. I've been stealing away to the humans garage and working on the Delorean Time Machine every chance I get. I need to get the brakes working again so I dont have another "mishap" like last time.
There seems to be parts missing here thou...and I turn around and seen an orange puff of hair on the garage floor. Kosmo has been here!

There is a lot of activity outside today. Squirrels are running around. Birds are everywhere! They like to land on top of the stakes for the vegetable garden. They are even hopping over here to the window.

I don't know why the boy human thinks this is funny but he throws his dirty sock on me when he gets home. If I don't move fast I'll end up with both socks...lucky for me today Kosmo was around to get the second sock.

The humans love this! If you want to be the cutest you gotta go for the face wash....they eat it up every time. I think I might have gone too far with this one because the girl human took so many pictures I was about blind by the time my face was clean.
